Great night out was had by all, as the Bass One Band rocked out the house at the Fat Duck (AKA Bloated Mallard in Teddington). We farewelled our favourite American, Noel Ponthieux, as she heads back to her homeland - Bon Voyage!
Check out our homegrown Bass One Band Members here.
And there's even a rather dark and shaky video of House Of The Rising Sun here

Rackspace are fanatical about support, and they wanted people to understand what it felt like to go without fanatical support. So that's why they sent out Wilson. Those who have seen Castaway, will be familiar with the ball that washed up with the Tom Hanks character and became his only friend. Without Wilson, you could feel as alone as Chuck did!

Mark has worked in Online Marketing for just over four years but has been net obsessed for many years. His love affair with everything Internet began learning html and building basic websites for himself and friends as a hobby.
Mark's first opportunity to utilise these skills and expand upon them in a work environment was as part of the online marketing department at a reputable overseas property company. From there he hasn't looked back and has wanted to learn and experience as much as possible relating to online marketing. He arrives at Base One having worked for an agency as well as client-side covering various B2B and B2C industries. He is also GAP (Google Adwords Professional) qualified .
Mark is football mad, supporting Fulham and playing for Mole Valley SCR. Besides that he maintains a selection of blogs and some websites and spends a lot of time learning as much as possible about the internet and Online Marketing. Mark also has an addiction to DVD's both movies and TV shows and at present his collection consists of around 350.

A unique opportunity for brand awareness and a little bit for charity too.
PWN supported the Great Gorilla Run on Saturday by sponsoring one Base One's mates to run 7km dressed as a gorilla, to help raise money for endangered gorillas. Base One enthusiasts, along with the gorilla (along with 100 bananas!) were fully branded, and up early on a Saturday morning for the big event.
650 runners took place in the run - a world record, and overall, the day raised £130,000 which is brilliant.
Check ou the fun you can have with some gorillas and too many bananas.

After many years searching for fame whilst undertaking various Performing Arts courses and following a short stint within TV Production; Lorna somehow fell into Events which then lead rather seamlessly into her first marketing agency role. She has worked within Marketing for just over five years, being nurtured by the best within a number of successful growing agencies.
Everyone needs a bit of culture in their life though right, so after much deliberation Lorna felt it was time to fulfil her lifetime longing for a bit of travel and in November last year made the bold decision to head to Sydney in search of work. After travelling the east coast of Australia for three weeks she had well and truly been hit by the travelling bug and decided to continue her cultural search within South East Asia for another three months. She arrived home in July ready for a fresh start and came across The Base One website - needless to say she got in touch and just weeks into her new role she says: "I am loving it!"
Lorna started with Base One on the 17 August.

JLT launched their new branded website on the 6 July.
Earlier this year, JLT decided to review their brand and their positioning in the market place. And following this piece of work, JLT embarked on an identity refresh to reflect their new brand promise of the Distinctive Choice.
Base One was asked to help JLT through this process, specifically to realise the new brand strategy across all of JLT's digital assets.
A particular challenge was to realise the new identity within the current structure of the website, to avoid substantial redevelopment costs. A new home page design was also required to better reflect the broad range of growing content available through the group website.
